This artwork is inspired by the Seal of Prophethood (Khatam an-Nabiyyin) — the sacred inscription borne on the ring of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, used to seal official correspondence and letters sent to rulers beyond Arabia. Inscribed with the words Allah, Rasul, Muhammad arranged with intention and humility, it is among the most recognisable and revered visual symbols in Islamic history.

Rather than a literal reproduction, this piece interprets the seal as an imprint — pressed into time, memory, and faith. The circular form evokes finality and completion, reflecting the Prophet ﷺ as the final messenger. Heavy textures and layered surfaces echo the weight of responsibility carried by the message, while the weathered patina suggests continuity across centuries.

Gold tones symbolise divine authority and honour, while darker metallic hues ground the piece in humility and humanity — a balance that defined the Prophet’s ﷺ life and leadership. The surrounding distressed surface represents the world into which the message was delivered: imperfect, resistant, yet transformed by truth.

This artwork stands as a visual reminder of legitimacy, trust, and divine transmission. More than an image, it is a mark of completion — a seal that affirms faith, authority, and mercy. A quiet yet powerful tribute to the most beloved of creation, Allah’s Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ.
